Throwback Thursday ❤️ Turks and Caicos

Last year I went to Turks and Caicos with my family.
I first landed in Chicago and stayed 2 nights there. 
This was my second time being in Illinois and it 
made me realize how much I love it.
 I then flew to Turks and Caicos. It was by far the 
best vacation ever. The weather was absolutely 
perfect and the water on the beach was always 
so warm..Even at 10 o'clock at night when we 
all went night swimming. The moon was reflecting
 off of the water, it was so beautiful. A chef prepared meals for us every other night,
 along with appetizers and desserts.  It was so
interesting to see the difference in meal style 
compared to the U.S. We went snorkeling and
that was SO cool. I've never seen such beautiful
fish. We also went parasailing, which is also
an awesome experience. It was also interesting
driving on the left side of the road, and the 
steering wheel being on the opposite side too!
Of course I refused to drive, but it felt like someone
was coming at us every time we drove past someone. My older uncle thought dish soap was candy with an 

 M&M on top and almost ate it..and so much more. Let's just say we were always laughing. My aunt and cousins repeatedly told me to put sunscreen on but of course I didn't listen. I told them that I never get a chance to get this tan..I've ALWAYS been pale. Keely Sullivan & I snuck around the corner and put tanning oil on instead. (Oops) Later that night my entire body stung and I was literally as red asa lobster..I suppose that was karma. The next morning my face was swollen and my eyes werealmost swollen shut. Aloe then became my BFF. I literally looked like a creature from starwars. The last day there was a sad one..I didn't ever want to leave but I missed my friends and family. I would go back in a heartbeat if I got the chance. It was the best.
